BLUE MOON NOVEL COMPETITION

$1000 PRIZE + 2028 PUBLICATION

FOR THE TOP TWO NOVELS

Madville Publishing is excited to bring back the Blue Moon Novel Competition starting November 1, 2026. Outstanding entries in the Blue Moon Novel Competition will tell a simple story well, written directly without experimental styles and without too much abstraction. Our catalogue features cross-cultural stories with natural dialect, vivd setting, strong point-of-view, and true-to-life characterization. At this time we are particularly interested in thrillers, horror, and fantasy novels, but not Romance or Romantasy titles. Read more on our website.

Open November 1, 2026 - March 31, 2027
